Every person will tell you that their version of "reality" is Reality. One of the main functions of our consciousness is to create a visceral experience of the beliefs held in that consciousness. The process of creation goes like this: Beliefs are chosen or accepted. Beliefs produce thoughts that confirm the belief. Together, they generate emotions that the intellect interprets as a feeling (gives it a name based on the belief that generated it). Altogether, they determine the behavior (what is said and done). From there, an event occurs and an experience is created that we call that our life. And eight billion people are doing it simultaneously. Of course the only solution is to listen to the Inner Guid, the emotional body that lets us know when we are walking away from (conditional negative feelings) or towards love (unconditional positive feelings). Release the untrue belief of the ego and replace it with the Truth. This is what the Course teaches as True Forgiveness. They Question: Is there one reality? Answer: What does the Course say?
